Brett Hulsey's blog from the Democratic Convention

Yesterday was a historic day at the Democratic Convention. Here's an update:
Barack knocks it out of the park
Barack's speech on restoring America's promise was amazing. Obama made the case for his presidency and showed a lot of spine with a "Bring it On" style challenge to McCain's temperament and judgment to be president. In addition to inspiration, he provided specifics on how we will govern to move America forward.
Hillary and Bill increased the drama
Some conventions are coronations, but Hillary and Bill provided just enough drama to the convention but in the end supported Barack 100 percent. The roll call was exciting and dramatic but Hillary Clinton did the right thing by supporting Barack Obama and uniting the party. Those of us who supported Hillary were happy to see the party coming together united to give America the change we need.
